Thank you, @Abhijeet G. Patil! I take that compliment well from a man who has had a fantastic splash as a publicly sharing writer. You've extreme raw talent, as your essay on your father and his leadership lessons revealed.
I also loved "alright, alright, alright!" (Simple, but then moving language, right?) Repetition can become a powerful tool for communicators when done from the heart and soul and when in line with our character and values. Matthew's very spiritual and connected with his Christian God. He loves gospel; so this language (I suspect) and in this place of his speech (the end) brings him there.
When I pared down his speech from a whisker over 3 minutes to one minute to show the framework can work well, this "alright..." language felt important to keep, no matter what.
What say you? BTW, I think we need to talk again about writing on my Sage Sayers show. Lol. We've a lot to say here about great writing.
